Instructions for Oral Presentations
Duration of Oral Presentations
Oral presentations by abstract submitters are included throughout the scientific program. Please see below the durations of each type of oral presentation:
- Standard oral presentation:
Duration: 8 minutes plus 2 minutes for questions. - Short oral presentation:
Duration: 4 minutes plus 1 minutes for questions.
Format
- Format: PPT or PPTX
- Slide size: 16:9 (widescreen)
- If you design your Powerpoint presentation on a Mac, please be attentive to avoid the issue of low-resolution graphics when presented from a PC. The most straight forward workaround is not to import images or graphics from PDF files. Instead import directly from image files.

- Please upload your presentation before arriving at the conference. Send your presentation to psj@cap-partner.eu no later than Thursday 10 September.
- Please name your presentation as the following: time of presentation, date of presentation, title of presentation
- If you have not uploaded your presentation beforehand, please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive. Personal laptops are not allowed for presentations.
- Upload your presentation directly in the session room using a USB stick at least 2 hours before your session starts. Presenters scheduled for early morning sessions will be required to upload their presentation the day before.
- A technician will be available to assist you with uploading your file to the conference computer.
